The GrubPack is a very simple outdoor solution to a very real outdoor problem. When used properly, the GrubPack will effectively protect your food cache from coatis, squirrels, ringtails, ravens, raccoons, skunks, mice, rats and other small rodents and animals.
For best results pack your food, personal hygiene items and food related trash in odor-reducing resealable plastic bags/containers. Stuff these items in your GrubPack and you are good to go! At the camp site, hang your GrubPack using the provided grommet, as you would normally hang any food bag for animal resistant protection. If daytime ravens are a concern, place your GrubPack in a stuff sack before hanging. If hanging is not an option, attempt to conceal your GrubPack out of sight from ravens. Use the grommet and a tent stake to stake your GrubPack to the ground to avoid having the bag dragged by animals. Always be sure the Velcro closure is firmly sealed across the entire top of your GrubPack.
